"Awesome webcast," are words we do hear from our clients! Our staff is full time! The crew you have today will be there tomorrow! Peter Murray is the chief of the operation. “I am out with most every shoot we have”, says Murray. “Some days we do doubles and then I have a reliable substitute like Brian Purdy or Paul Coombes. They are both accomplished producers with directing experience behind a switcher. A webinar in Ontario is a challenge they enjoy. Brian is a 40 year vet. Now in semi-retirement, Brian is always eager to join us on the road. A project we shot with Brian two years ago managed 15 different awards. Brian is a former Producer/Director at Toronto's CFTO-TV with a credit list the envy of many. The tension can build in a broadcast environment, but Brian is our relaxed man in command. Paul Coombes has been with the company for 27 years. A writer, an editor and a producer Paul remains calm under the toughest conditions. But we stay away from tough circumstances by planning ahead. Our Technical Director is Jim Davey. Another long-serving member of Omni, it is Jim who establishes the signals and gets the server warmed up and ready – to serve, YOU! Jim also handles SEG duties as needed. Audio is handled by Erica Sherwood and/or Cameron Kilcar. Both 20-somethings, they share the keeness of newbies. But they have each been at it now for 6 years. “Six years and great ears” is Erica’s fave saying. Cameron smiles knowing the competitive spirit they share means they both know how to mix! The senior videographer is Sean Maloney. Sean lights up the set with his Irish blarney and he lights the set with our extensive array of arris, red heads and lowels. Sean is edging toward his 20th year as a shooter/lighting man. There is also Derek and Starlene and Lesha or Joyce to fill out the roster on any tv webcast or simply set up the scheduling.
